Every Piano Has a Story is a music album of twelve neoclassical piano pieces that narrate - through sound - a generally optimistic story. All 12 pieces on this album exist in both as audio and as sheet music. All of these pieces were composed by Juan María Solare.

Every piano has a story, just as every human being has one. A story, a past, a collection of experiences that lead to what it is today, to how this piano sounds today. My task here is to tell this story and these stories - through sound. Part of that narrative is the present album.

This project was funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the funding programme NEUSTART KULTUR - German Music Council Scholarship Programme 2023.

Every Piano Has a Story (Jedes Klavier hat eine Geschichte) ist ein Musikalbum mit zwölf neoklassischen Klavierstücken, die - durch Klang - eine im Allgemeinen optimistische Geschichte erzählen. Die 12 Stücke dieses Albums existieren sowohl als Audio als auch als Noten. Alle diese Stücke wurden von Juan María Solare komponiert.

Jedes Klavier hat eine Geschichte, ebenso wie jeder Mensch eine hat. Eine Geschichte, eine Vergangenheit, eine Ansammlung von Erfahrungen, die dazu führen, dass es heute ist, wie es ist, und wie dieses Klavier heute klingt. Meine Aufgabe hier ist es, diese Geschichte und diese Geschichten zu erzählen - durch Klang. Ein Teil dieser Erzählung ist dieses Album.

Every Piano Has a Story (Todo piano tiene una historia) es un álbum de doce piezas para piano en estilo neoclásico que narran -mediante sonido- una historia en general optimista. Las 12 piezas de este álbum existen tanto en formato de audio como en partitura. Todas estas piezas fueron compuestas por Juan María Solare.

Cada piano tiene una historia, así como cada cada ser humano la tiene. Una historia, un pasado, un cúmulo de experiencias, que decantan en lo que es hoy, en cómo suena hoy ese piano. Mi función aquí es contar esa historia y esas historias, mediante el sonido. Parte de esa narración es este álbum.

Este proyecto ha sido financiado por la Comisionada del Gobierno Federal para la Cultura y los Medios de Comunicación como parte del programa de financiación NEUSTART KULTUR - Programa de Becas del Consejo Alemán de la Música 2023.
